(Help) "The specified module could not be found..."
I get the two following errors at boot-up, in two separate pop-up warning
windows : Error loading C:\WINDOWS\System32\NvCpl.dll The specified module could not be found. And... Error loading nview.dll The specified module could not be found. Short of disabling any association found to these files in MSCONFIG's boot-up list, is there a cleaner way of fixing things? |

You are missing files required for your GeForce video card.
Download, but do not install, a certified NVIDIA driver from www.nividia.com. Go into your Add/Remove Programs applet in your Control Panel and uninstall any references to NVIDIA. Reboot your computer and allow XP to install its default video driver. Afterward, install the new NVIDIA driver you downloaded, reboot your computer and adjust your video resolution, making sure to click on "apply". =20 --=20 Nicholas -------------------------------------------------------------------------= --------------- "Bern Harrison" wrote in message: =20 ... | I get the two following errors at boot-up, in two separate pop-up = warning | windows : |=20 | Error loading C:\WINDOWS\System32\NvCpl.dll | The specified module could not be found. |=20 | And... |=20 | Error loading nview.dll | The specified module could not be found. |=20 | Short of disabling any association found to these files in MSCONFIG's | boot-up list, is there a cleaner way of fixing things? |=20 | |
