Default rundll32.exe in task manager

There are lot of rundll32.exe process running in the task manager, i've tried
clearing the preftech folder located in the c:\windows\system32 folder for
sometime it will vanish and then reappear due to this the system slows down
pretty badly.

Please help to eliminate the same.

Don't empty that folder.

Run these, then report back if you still have a problem:

Hi ELmo,thanks for the update, there is one more option this causes by a
virus downadup.b actually it creates a n number of schedule tasks is the task
scheduler,

we need to disable the system restore and then clear these tasks.

Note:- with the update antivirus we need to do a through scan and clear the
threats
