Does it work ok? It apparently works fine with the Windows 10 Technical Preview, but you should be aware that Windows 10 doesn't exist yet; just the Technical Preview. It probably isn't likely, but it *is* possible that it works with the Technical Preview, but will not work when Windows 10 is released. This is true. I guess we'll have to wait and see, just like I did with Win8. Not saying you're wrong (you aren't very often that I've seen), but I heard the same thing about Win8 and certain programs, and the ones I was worried I'm certainly not claiming that it won't work. As I said, "it probably isn't likely, but it *is* possible." My point is mainly that you should not trust everything in Technical Previews/Beta Versions to also be in and work as well in the released version. Some things do unexpectedly change. Like 8.1, Win10 which will be full version ware, Win10 is also likely to only provide two options when moving from an older o/s - (1) keep personal files (docs, photos, music, etc. in the user profile default location) but not programs and settings or (2) keep nothing. As many have learned in the past...o/s backward compatibility with MSFT or 3rd party software is not a given. -- ....winston msft mvp consumer apps |
