Default Video with Windows Messenger

Hi all, well I cant get video to work @ all!
with WM 4.7, or MSN Mess 5. It says
there's no video! But I have a Logitech webcam
which works everywhere else. ie: In Windows
Explorer, the drivers are installed. The cam also
works with Yahoo Messenger.

Does the video option in WM actually work??

Or it is there as an ornament?! Just to look pretty?

Or do I need to install something else, besides
WN and/or MSN Messenger, for the video to
work?

The firewall isnt enabled on the dialup connection

But I do use Blackice and Zonealarm... Or do you
have to actually be in conversation with someone
for the video to actually work? (Which is pretty
hopeless)!

Probably all too obvious..... but, if it works in Yahoo Messenger, can you
confirm that you have run the Audio Tuning Wizard in Messenger?

As a guess, are you running the latest drivers from the Windows Update
site for your Logitech camera? If so, get the (even later) latest
drivers from www.logitech.com and use them instead.

I had the same problem as you describe here with a couple of PCs and
Logitech cameras, and installing the latest drivers from Logitech -
and then re-running the Audio Tuning Wizard - got those cameras
working correctly in Messenger again.
