Default remove logon screen

Control Userpasswords2 has nothing to do with this setting. You may need to
check the following Registry entries.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\policies\system
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

For the LogonType value. It should read 1 for the Welcome Screen and 0 for
the classic Win2K style logon. To change this value, right click the
LogonType value and select Modify.

You may also want to check
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

for the value AllowMultipleTSSessions. This is the setting for Fast User
Switching. 1 allows Fast User Switching, 0 disables it.

You might also want to look around the Group Policy Editor (Start, Run and
enter GPEDIT.MSC) for any changes that you, or another user may have made
there.
