Crashes
Computer continually crashes - have installed latest Nvidia drivers, but
crashes became worse, restored original drivers. have installed Via 4 in 1 drivers, to try and improve stability. Crashes occur most when i am running a virus check - presently using Kaspersky Personal Virus and Hacker software. Screen will go blank, sometimes machine re-boots, other times it hangs - any suggestions please?? -- Wisewords |

Crashes
that Kapersky did nothing for my computer; it was the worst antivirus I ever
tried. It slowed down my computer to unbelievable slows. Don't know what Hacker software is but I use avast antivirus and I've never had a virus be able to attack my computer since (over a year now) and it doesn't slow the computer down and it's even 64bit enabled. maybe try that one, it's free for the personal version (I bought the professional one because it's so much better than any others I've come across) and the pro version is a helll of a lot better than the free version, but it's still the best of the free ones in my opinion. try it at least; anythings better than kapersky anyways "wisewords" wrote: Computer continually crashes - have installed latest Nvidia drivers, but crashes became worse, restored original drivers. have installed Via 4 in 1 drivers, to try and improve stability.
