Default What's the last known good version of CClearner for Windows 10 x64

What's the last known good version of CClearner for Windows 10 x64?

This article implies it might be a version prior to 5.43.6522 (25May2018):
https://betanews.com/2018/09/18/ccleaner-updating-itself-against-users-wishes/

But that Win10 users would need to never turn on the (off by default) check
[_]Old Prefetch data
(It's hard to tell from the article above if _that_ is the problem switch.)
(I'm using CCleaner Free v5.39.6399 64bit which is where I see that switch.)

Dunno, but I'm using v4.14 & version 2.? prior to that.
I can see no valid reason to keep updating the programme.
