Windows failing to recognise Xbox controller
I have a wireless Xbox one controller that I can hook up to the PC with a USB cable. Problem is after the first time, which worked flawlessly, it won't recognise it again. The first time it did the usual "setting up" device and was listed in the devices setting. However, since then nothing. When I connect the controller it buzzes in response, but windows is dumb. I even went into the old "control panel" which has the controller listed, but it's greyed out and "disconnected". How can I get win 10 re-recognise the controller which can work perfectly well? |

Forget the device first by right-clicking it and choosing that option, then resync the controller to your computer. -- Your friendly neighborhood Rabid Rogue |
