Default Startup error after installing SP2

Error message at bottom of blue screen. No referance to any program is given.
STOP:0x0000007E (0xC0000005, 0xF6D54750, 0xF79AF42C,0xF79AF128)
Does anyone have any idear what the remaining part of the error message is
saying, that is the bit in brackets
(0xC0000005,0xF6D54750,0xF79AF42C,0xF79AF128)
It would help to know what I am looking for.The program can be started in
safe mode but going through all the items in control panel I cannot fine
anything that is out of order, other than the fact that the internet settings
have been lost. I reinstall a backup made prior to SP2 installation and am
back to a normal working machine.

Hi,

The part in brackets will very depending on the exact cause of the error,
there is no simple way of telling you what they mean. Debugging usually will
give some indications, but as you've already reverted there is no way to
tell. Generally, the 0x7E error indicates a hardware incompatibility.
