my email was used by someone else

I had an electronic post office also known as email then someone using Jean
name modified my account and used it to send messages with my electronic
address. Now I don't if they took the account but webpage is different so
for now I don't trust very much people using this network to be famous at
any cost.

Change your email address (simple to do), and maybe even your service
provider.

I would contact your ISP and tell them what happened and THEN change
your email address. Under the circumstances they may even do it for you.

If the ISP know about the problem they can possibly prevent it happening
to someone else.

Did they change your password preventing a logon in the email account's
web user interface ?

Are you certain those messages with 'Jean's name' are not just spoofed
headers with your email address but sent from a total different account
and locale ?

Can you prove that you are not another troll trying to modify my name
and use it? I am the real one around here.

Just had a strange issue with my email. Tomorrow maybe I'll try to connect
again if between I don't forget the password. IMMO that's no good to use
email always on. Microsoft likes users with id but if someone can access
this pc then it can be unsafe.

I know my real life name but it's boring. Used to know this tolls but that's
not me.
