Firewall
Greetings Weir,
A number of Belkin routers do seem to have some sort of built-in Messenger support, usually activated by putting your computer into the DMZ of the router (see the routers documentation on how to do this). Note to everyone else: The Belkin routers are somewhat rare in this regard, DMZ will *NOT* allow file transfers on every routers/NAT device. ____________________________________________ Jonathan Kay Windows MVP, Messenger Associate Expert http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/ Messenger Resources - http://messenger.jonathankay.com "Weir" wrote in message ... ok, this prob has always come up, i am behind a firewall that is in my router, can u give me a link to an old message that has info i could use or just tell me here.
