Registry Cleaner?????
I have been having problems with websites and mail opening slowly. Looking
in google for answers, they suggest a registry cleaner. I don't think I have one of those in any of the virus/spyware programs I have. Would you suggest getting one of these, would it help and which one should I get. As I have said in past posts, I have run all the spyware and virus programs. Pentium 4; 1 gb of ram |

You do not need a registry cleaner for Windows XP.
However, you may wish to try the 30-day trial version of System Mechanic. System Mechanic http://www.iolo.com/sm/5/index.cfm Try the following recommended maintenance first: 4 Ways to Speed Up Your Computer's Performance http://www.microsoft.com/atwork/getstarted/speed.mspx -- Carey Frisch Microsoft MVP Windows XP - Shell/User Microsoft Newsgroups ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "PattiChati" wrote: | I have been having problems with websites and mail opening slowly. You have 100,000 and up registry keys (Audigy 2ZS plus its apps write some
10,000 keys, for ex). You can go here http://www.macecraft.com/regsupremepro/ and try their registry tool. Michael "PattiChati" wrote in message ... Google for download sites. |
