How do I keep IM from loading
The Windows Instant Messenger (XP Pro) icon shows up in the systray waiting
for me to sign in. I can find it nowhere in the startup items (Mike Lin's startup control panel addin or msconfig). In services Messenger (which isn't related as I understand it) is disabled. Where is this thing being given permission to load? Thanks. ColBlip. E-mail: |

Open Windows Messenger. Go into its preferences.
