Default Something STILL l hitting the floppy at startup PLUS I get 2 welcome screens!

I tried that but it doesn't fix it. I had I hope of that one . Whatever
it is is doing it during the welcome screen which I get twice - first
welcome on light blue with dark blue above and below - the second as that
but with a black band at the bottom. So each time I get the welcome screen
something hits the floppy for about 3 or 4 secs.
