Malwaebytes "objects" ?
When running Malwarebytes --if you're lucky enough to
have a free one ---those are no more -- it often detects "objects" (I just ran it on a new Win 8 machine which I beleived was infected and it said "1347 objects detected" !! What is an "object" to MWB ?? |

What is an "object" to MWB ?? You are the worst Googler I've ever seen!!! DON'T DOWNLOAD THE FIRST ONE YOU SEE!!!! I agree with your diagnosis. It's a repeat of the last disaster, on the same victim PC even... ******* To the OP... Trust analysis: 1) Use Wikipedia. Search for "malwarebytes" there. Products like that have a "website" link in the upper right hand corner of the article page. That shows the "trustworthy" source of the product. 2) In Google, try "malwarebytes website" "malwarebytes web site" "MBAM web site" There is a tendency to show the root site, when you do that kind of search. This method (2) is not quite as trustworthy, and needs further verification. Such as entering the "answer" you got, back into the search engine along with a few other details. Waiting for OPs next downloading disaster in... 3..2..1.. HTH, Paul |

What is an "object" to MWB ?? It's a thing. They didn't want to use the word thing because thing would only confuse people, so they call things objects instead of things to avoid confusion. |
