Thanks, I realise I worded this question incorrectly. I know the themes can
be disabled. But I'm talking about the individual check-boxes in 'Visual Effects'. e.g. "Smooth Edges of Screen Fonts" "Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop" I need to disable all but one of these Visual Effects.
