Default Visual Effects

Thanks, I realise I worded this question incorrectly. I know the themes can
be disabled. But I'm talking about the individual check-boxes in 'Visual
Effects'. e.g.

"Smooth Edges of Screen Fonts"
"Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop"

I need to disable all but one of these Visual Effects. Any ideas?

I am trying to disable all visual effects on workstations.

I would like to ensure no visual effects are loaded.

I do not want to do this via System Properties -- Advanced --

Performance

Is this setting possible with registry settings or gpo / rundll32?

Thanks

Examine

HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Control Panel/Desktop

most of entries are self-explainable; take a look in MSDN for the rest.
A MSDN search for string ""HKCU\Control Panel"" lists about all.
