Stylus For Win 8 Touch Screen?
Asus Ultrabook.
Nice screen, but it could use a stylus - especially when remoting to other PCs with larger monitors. Tried the styli from my Samsung 5" and 10" Notes, but no luck. I'm guessing such a thing would have to electrically connect with the user's hand to trigger the capacitive aspect of the screen. Seems like there are plenty of offerings - as in http://tinyurl.com/mvy5dd7 But has anybody found anything that works specifically on an Asus screen? -- Pete Cresswell |

Only found it at Best Buy ($15) but you should be able to find it online. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/slim-sty...5374&st=targus stylus&cp=1&lp=2 BobS |

Stylus For Win 8 Touch Screen?
Per Bob:
I have an Asus tablet with Win8.1 and use a Targus, small tip (6mm) stylus that works well. Only found it at Best Buy ($15) but you should be able to find it online. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/slim-sty...5374&st=targus stylus&cp=1&lp=2 That's the one I just got per your post. $15 at Staples. It does work.... but seems more like a finger tip analog than what I think of as a stylus. Has anybody got anything that works that has a finer point on it? At Staples, they all looked about the same as what I bought. My application is connecting remotely to PCs that have fairly large monitors - so that the objects desktop shown on the app used to remote are quite a bit smaller than in real life... and that's where a fine point comes in. -- Pete Cresswell |
