Default Printing problems with IE6.0 sp2 on windows XP

Hi,

I originally posted this in the Hardware section and just
realised there is a Printing & Faxing section, so
apologies for double posting.

Anyway, My problem is that I cannot print anything from
internet explorer (6.0 sp2).I run Windows XP. All
documents and images already on the computer work fine,
but I cannot print anything at all from IE. Just a blank
page comes out.

I've seen Cari's website, and I had a look at this
http://www.coribright.com/windows/Article%20Two.htm which
would seem to solve the problem, but there is no Advanced
tab and no line saying "Enabling third party.. etc".
There is only the tabs; General, Shortcut and
Compatability [which you cannot check anything in since
its a part of XP].

So, any ideas?

Thanks,
Becca.

You need to open the Internet options dialog from control
panel. On the last tabe of the internet options control
panel [advanced] scroll down to the item marked 'enable
third party extensions'. This isn't a shortcut issue. It's
an IE 'internet settings issue.

You can get to Internet options from inside IE or from
control panel. The control panel way is "StartControl
PanelNetwork and Internet OptionsInternet Options
