Default How do I change my destop icon text from white to a darker color

On my Windows desktop my Icons are a white font color. I changed my
wallpaper, which had a dark background to one with a light background. My
new background makes the text
really hard to read. The background is now a light gray with the fonts
being
white.
How do I change the text to a darker color? The icons themselves are
fine and I do not want to touch them but it would be nice to have the text
a
darker color.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
