Default Spam Virus or What?

I keep getting hotmail emails that include messages made up of
indecipherable groups of letters as below & a small .04mb jpg attachment
(which I never open). I always delete these emails - however it intrigues me
to what it's all about? Any clues?

Yep, they're viruses or worms. There's tons of them so I can't really point to one in
particular.
