Default Play DVD With Microsoft Presenter

I have a PowerPoint presentation that I use with the Microsoft
Presenter. It works perfectly for PP. I want to end my presentation
with a DVD video. I want to be able to pause and restart the DVD
during the presentation to discuss certain scenes. What would be a
good program for doing that which would work with the Presenter? I
tried using WinDVD, but I can't control it unless I have the WinDVD
console displayed on the screen. I'm looking for something that
doesn't require have a console on the screen, but that allows pausing
the DVD periodically. The presenter can only do left and right mouse
clicks, and cursor moves.
