Default Windews 7 and the windows media reader

Windows media reader has installed something more under Win7, but if one try
to use it for some of the choosen media, it's impossible: either one accepts
every format, or you can't use it at all.

besides I hate to see windows tryng to impose every sales of dates of
registered titles and files, and so on. It's not their job. I wonder if the
next step could be to check if every of your ,OWN home made files, text or
mail or whatever, has been done by you and is YOUR property!

Windews as a system of spying for the US governement, as always since
decades now, it's a violation of their own rules (freedom to use windows if
legal copy) and proably of most foreign countries rules.

Hooplehead alert!

We were just reminiscing about Major Hoople two days ago.

OK, I know no one cares - not even me :-)

Hi, Char.

First name Mott, by chance? That's the only Hoople I know.

Have a look at this page:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Our_Boarding_House

I searching for "Major Hoople", Bing gave me several references to "Major
Hoople's first name" as a crossword puzzle clue. Is that what triggered
your response? (He was Amos B. Hoople.)

Sorry, I was joking and should have included a smiley. My response was a nod
toward the old British rock band, Mott the Hoople.

By the way, that rock band was named after the 1966 novel "Mott the
Hoople," written by Willard Manus, who used to be a pretty good friend
of mine (although I haven't seen him or been in touch with him for 40
years or so). I don't even know whether he's still alive.

Hi, Char.

Never heard of Mott the Hoople - but I've led a sheltered life. And I'm
much older than Ken and Winston. (Don't forget the smiley...): ;^}

After checking that Wikipedia article, it's obvious why I never heard them.
In those years, I was listening to Hank Williams, Marty Robbins, Chet
Atkins, et al. And now George Strait carries on for them. Rock bands have
never played MY kind of music, either then or now.

I've heard *of* them, but I don't think I ever heard them. I hate rock
and roll.

I've heard of Hank Williams, but don't know his music.

Marty Robbins,

Never heard of him.

Chet Atkins,

But I'm a big fan of Chet Atkins. I play the guitar, often in a style
similar to his (but nowhere near as well).

et al.

And al, of course, is my favorite musician. vbg

And now George Strait carries on for them.

Never heard of him either.

never played MY kind of music, either then or now.

A very strong ditto!

Clapton cover songs (live) of Hank Williams, Waylon Jennings, and Chet
Atkins.

Hi, Winston.

...Metallica, Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin), Clapton...

Who are they? g Oh, I've heard OF them, of course, but never listened to
them, except for some Clapton.

Hank Williams was THE champ and held the title until Elvis came along. He
died at age 29 on January 1, 1953, during my first year in college, so he
never got old and fat like Elvis, but he might have exceeded EP's boozing
records if drink (and drugs?) hadn't killed him early. MANY artists covered
his songs, so a lot of folks have heard him and didn't realize that those
were country songs. Just a few of the ones that escaped the C&W gen
"Cold, Cold Heart", "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry", and the one they used for
the title of his life story movie, "Your Cheatin' Heart".

"Are you ready for some FOOTBALL?!!" That was Hank Williams, Jr., aka
"Bocephus". One of his hits was "Family Tradition": "So if I get stoned
and carry on all night long, it's a Family Tradition". "I'm proud of my
Daddy's name, but his kind of music and mine ain't exactly the same."

Well, we're WAAY OT now, so I'll shut up. ;^}

Default Windews 7 and the windows media reader - "intergrate"

Damn IE11 is just spinning it's wheels as I try to get to my own domain,
www.mahlers.com
well, in regards to how microsoft micro manages everything from as you wrote
"rogergonnet"
(who owns what, how to title it and how it all links to and effects "Joe or
Jane Doe"?

I wrote an article back in May of 2003, now entitled "Integrate" - worthy
read?

It's about how Windows interacts with daily life - not like todays world,
2014 but when todays world, as you described it RogerGonnet
was a idea and dream on a testing scale - not so publically implemented.

for example, my then wife came to me in our home and asked me to call her
physician.
So, I told her "in a little while I will".

welll, it's as if windows had other ideas..

there were no visible (LOL) microphones anywhere in my room/studio

well, the pc crashed seconds after my wife left
upon getting it running again, I started www.winamp.com a media player
It had 1000's of songs and the first song started that was also picked in
random/shuffle

....remember my wife wanted me to call her doctor/physician?
the first song to start was "calling dr. love" by kiss
her physician, well, he's a doctor and he loved his job, so it became a
matter of calling dr. love

but, wtf, since when did I allow microsoft to get into my life so personally
and how do i shut it off?
since when did microsoft advertise windows to be a personal
assistant/companion in daily life AND pull this ****?
how do I turn **** like this into $$$$?

yep, that’s just a every day instance for millions of people nowadays
not so big of an issue in 2003, it was still testing but I was using Windows
Me at the time.
maybe not testing perhaps, actually in full swing
now the federal government, in light of ferguson, nyc, middle east, ukraine
how is this going to effect us even more than microsofts relationship with
all things population control as I have desribed and you have touched base
on
here in this newsgroup and I assume elsewhere? where else do you write
rogergonnet?

wkmahler, m2tech,us, netbuds.org, wkmahler.com and mahlers.com
http://mahlers.com/nonlethals-integrate/
I got to the page seconds ago to be able to copy and paste that link
there...as if while the ie11 was spinning to get to my domain, I should do
something else - and I did, I wrote here BUT my domain should've loaded in
less than one second as it does for everybody else - again, microsoft is
being a partner controller WITHOUT MY ****ING PERMISSION
No wonder so many people have nothing to do with the internet

a work in progress
