Default microsoft patch

I keep getting a "microsoft" download patch immediately
msg in my outlook express. It blocks all other messages
coming into my email. It also is sent 3 to 6 times a
day. How do i get rid of this without changing my email
address. if I sign into "get email" account I can delete
it there and the rest of the messages then can be
downloaded into outlook express. Is there a message
blocker in Get email?

Is there an attachment on the Email?
This has been around a short while.
The attachment is most likely a virus.
Delete the Email and attachment immediately.

Microsoft sends security updates but NEVER with attachments.

On the rare occasion Microsoft sends a file, you would be expecting it
in advance and know exactly what it is.

Install an antivirus application.
Update your antivirus weekly.
Run it weekly.
Install or enable a firewall:

Go to Outlook Express, click the "Help" tab.
Search for "Rules" for ways to configure outlook Express.

Microsoft never has, does not currently, and never will email
unsolicited security patches. At the most, if, and only if, you
subscribe to their security notification newsletter, they will send
you an email informing you that a new patch is available for
downloading.
