SmCaptionHeight
HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics

Data type Range Default value
REG_SZ Number of twips -225 (225 twips)

Description
Specifies the height of small captions.

Note

Windows 2000 does not add this entry to the registry. You can add it by editing the registry or by using a program that edits the registry.

MinWidth
HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics

Data type Range Default value
REG_SZ Number of twips -154 (154 twips)

Description
Specifies the width of a minimized window.

Note

Windows 2000 does not add this entry to the registry. You can add it by editing the registry or by using a program that edits the registry.

You can work out your other two i think. Minwidth is taskbar buttons. One of the thing Captions do is change the size of Systray icons.

Hi John,

MinWidth changes the size of open app's on the Taskbar. Here is an example:

Go to Start/Run/Regedit and navigate to this key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics

In the right pane, add a new String Value and name it MinWidth. Set the
value to -285. Reboot.

Decrease the Size of Taskbar Buttons - Undo (Line 97)
