Default opening .dbx files

I reecently got xp from comp usa and my old hard drive
was left in as a slave and backup to the new one. My
problem is that a number of files with a .dbx extension
will not open in my old drive so that I can transfer them
to my new one. This is particularly so in outlook express
where there are a number of .dbx files I cannot read and
think I need to move. Then I try to open a file, I get
the message that windows cannot open the file and I shoud
try to choose one. Nothing works however.
Any ideas???

Start OE and go to file, import, messages and point to the folder that
contains the .dbx files.
