Default netmeeting on DSL

I am trying to run netmeeting in xp on my computer. I can call others, but i can not recieve calls. My IP that comes up, is the ip of my modem that is supplying connection to my network. How can I give someone my IP so they can call me, and not the modem.
I can make and recive within the network, just not out.
