Hello,

I installed Zone Alarm internet security and now I have almost none of my
programs showing in the add/remove window. Adobe progs can not be opened -
error message is not enough memory allocated to open program shut down other
applications and try again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

U can stop ZoneAlarm from loading at startup then restart the computer in
SafeMode. Then Add/Remove any programs u want.
To stop ZoneAlarm from loading at startup follow these steps:
1- Restore ZoneAlarm control center window.
2- at (Overview) section, Open (Preferences) tab.
3- Uncheck (Load ZoneAlarm Security Suite at startup).

Then restart and press F8 while booting, and choose SafeMode. Then
Add/Remove Programs

I have uninstalled zone alarm and it is not in my computer.

I still can not find the programs that belong in my add/remove programs
list. I need to do a repair. they show in the local drive but i can not
get them to open.... so thought i would do a repair on them... they are
adobe progs... and several others.

Hi Joan,
Try one of these and Reboot your machine then see if the Add/Remove programs
will operate correctly.
Add or Remove Programs Restriction - Undo:

Restore the Control Panel :

I strongly Advise you to run a thorough scan with an up to date security
software like Anti-Virus and Anti-malware programs to make sure your system
is clean from malware and viruses.
HTH.
