Programs wont run/install after installing SP2

After installing service pack 2 certain programs wont install on my
computer, they will load almost to the end and then roll themselves back and
not install. The same is true for some programs that are already installed,
when you try to use them they begin to load as if they were being installed
for the first time and then roll themselves back and not run. Is anyone else
having this problem, does anyone know of a solution?
