Default Wireless Networking Between XP home and XP Professional

I have a SONY VIAO desktop with XP home (connected via SBC DSL 2WIRE Home
Portal Ethernet) and a Dell Laptop with XP professional (connected through a
2WIRE wireless PC card). I have tried setting up the home network, and on
both computers I see the workgroup I created and the two computers. On the
laptop I can access the desktop files (and even print to the printers
connected to the desktop) but from the desktop, when I click the laptop under
the workgroups, it says "\\Laptop is not accessible. You may not have
permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this
server to find out if you have access permissions. Access is denied".
I have no clue about this because as far as I know I have shared the files
already (the two computers actually show under my network places/workgroups
on both computers, but from the desktop I can't access the laptop files when
I click on it. When I try to go to the Home Portal Home Page, the same
problem happens, I can't access the files of the laptop from the desktop."

HELP!!
