where can i find more emoticons?

Hello,

Is it possible to edit the standard emoticons of messenger?

Where are they located in my XP pc using msn 6.1? in which folder i
fidn the standard set of emoticons? what file extension they have?

Can I edit each of them as a file?

Where can I find on the net more emoticons for free?

What about the sounds of messenger are they also files? where are
they?

Greetings Mario,

Yes you can *but*, only you would see them (your contacts would see the same regular ones).
They're located in the msnmsgr.exe executable itself as a PNG, you can't directly edit them
without a resource editor.

MSN Messenger 6.x however allows you to add custom emoticons in addition to what's already
there *and* your contacts also using MSN Messenger 6.x will see them. There's no editing
required, simply click the Tools menu, then Create Emoticons.
