Default MSN/Windows Msngr - voice channel won't connect

Me and a friend have run Yahoo Messenger, both voice and video work.

Now we are trying MSN Messenger. Typing at each other and video
channel connects fine, but when we try voice, I get "connecting to
Donald", but after a minute it stops trying and says that Donald has
the stopped voice. It never connects.

We tried Sunday - Tueday (the 10th, Feb). I thought it was a server
problem at first, because we were connected, and viseo worked, but now
it's 3 days - anyone know what is going on?

Besides MSN Messenger, we've also tried Windows Messenger. Same
thing.

Hi all
I had the same problem on win XP, i found a cure for mine.
Open your home page, click tools , click internet options ,click advance tab
, scrool down to use passive ftp (for firewall and dsl) , put check in box
and i was off and running.
Hope this helps someone.
