Default javascript

certian web pages which use javascript are not functioning properly, often
buttons dont work or pages and downoads do not even load. one of these sites
is windows update. can anyone help me?

Rob,

enable active scripting in Internet Explorer or, more simply,
use the default security settings of medium security for the
Internet zone.

Tried that and still no joy, downloaded mozilla firebox and the page works
fine but not in IE

strange. Do you see the no javascript warning, the first red
paragraph on http://www.michna.com/kb/wxnet.htm ? Does that page
work for you? Do you see the 2 second hits popup when you select
a checkbox on that page? If yes, then your browser works pretty
well.
