Default Problem with new monitor

I bought a new monitor and facing a peculiar problem.
When I open Excel document it appears blank. I don't
know why rows and columns cannot be seen. I have tried
to adjust contrast and brightness with no success.
Any advice will be of great help to me.
Thanx

LOL! I assume you meant "formerly." That looks like an error that was
miscorrected by a spelling checker.

LOL again! I would never bother pointing out this error if it hadn't
been in response to a post about a spelling error.

That should be "mea culpa."

I'll also add that although I'm a good speller, I'm a terrible typist
and make many typos all over the place. If it weren't for the spell
checker here, you'd see lots more of them from me.

Check Display Properties.

It could be, that the order or position of the monitor
isn't appropriate for your setup.
