Default Firewall keeps getting disabled

I enable the firewall on my XP system only to find after a couple of
days that it is disabled for no apparent reason.

I have a two system network (using xp's networking utility). The other
system also has its firewall disabled periodically. I us NAV 2002.

Any suggestions?

The built in XP firewall isn't designed for use on a LAN. I have no idea
why it's shutting down, but use a third party firewall like ZoneAlarm from
www.zonelabs.com instead.
