Default Safe mode problems

Hi i've been tryingt o get into safe mode by hitting the f8 key on restarting but thenh it comes up with 4 options none of which say safe mode are different areas of the computer i believe, as in folppy drive, hdd etc but none of the 4 take me into safe mode.

Any help would be great again.

Default Safe mode problems

For my ECS motherboard hitting F8 early in the startup will bring up a
similar menu that gives you a choice of what device to startup from. Select
the hard drive [HDD in your case] and then try F8 again after that and you
should be able to access the alternate start menu from which you can choose
Safe Mode. -- Steve
