"Your system is low on virtual memory."
Check your C:\Pagefile. It is probably gone.
I experience this same program twice and had to reload the system each time. I was not able to correct it. James "Amber" wrote in message ... I recently started getting this error message, completely out of the blue: "Your system is low on virtual memory. Windows is increasing the size of your virtual memory paging file. During this process, memory requests for some applications may be denied." I can't pinpoint this to any new software installation, or using any specific program when the message pops up. Any ideas? (Running Windows XP Home). Thanks a bunch! Amber |

"Your system is low on virtual memory."
This is a normal operation for windows XP. It will set the vitual memory by itself or you can do it. Right click my computer, click properties, advanced tab, performance setting, advanced tab, down at the bottom of that window click on change and you will s
ee what amount is recommended and what it is set to. You can change it and click set or leave it and let windows do it for you sometime in the future. Hope this helps. |
