Default Uninstalled SP2 and now I can access my Bank OK

This is a follow-up from my earlier post. I had a Java script error -
"denied permission" error when I tried to access my bank https site after I
installed SP2. I uninstalled it using the add/remove program in the Control
panel. Now I can access my bank OK.

What is different between the before and after SP2 that affects Java /
https sites? I am afraid to put the SP2 back on again....

Thanks,
mac
