create VDI
I must be behind the times.
Playing with disk management I noticed that Win10 has a "new" feature in that it can create a "VDI" image. I then decided to have a look at my Win7 and Win8 installations and see that feature has been with Windows for some time now. Has anyone done it, and if so ...did it work out ok? |

philo* has brought this to us :

Create a VDI or create a VHD? My systems all have the ability to create a VHD. If you do that, you can actually install an operating system on the VHD and boot from the VHD. Or later migrate the VHD to a Hyper-V host t orun as a VM. |
