On Windows 10 upgrade
Maybe some people will want to keep Windows 8.1 instead of upgrading to
system that we don't know the conditions of use. Some recent software are offering software subscriptions with payments per month or year, like Office 365 for example. Perhaps Windows 8.1 will be last system we can ever own.

I suspect we will be able to get Win10 for the same sort of one time payment entitling us to perpetual use as we have for all previous versions of windows.
