And that's the problem with that sewer of a webforum on the microsoft.com site. It may not finish the job on the first reboot, but after several reboots, it'll "get in" and do its thing. And after such shenanigans are finished, do you still trust your computer setup ? If it was just adware, then you wouldn't panic. If it was a real threat, you might level and reload.
