grab the corners and drag to the size you want it to open to, and then close
it. When it opens again, it will retain that new size and position.

Hi Chuck, thanks for the response.

Yes, I know that it's supposed to remember its size. But something keeps on
making it half-size again.

1) Right-click on the icon you use to launch Internet Explorer
2) Choose "Properties"
3) Select the "Shortcut" tab
4) Select "Maximized" from the drop-down list next to "Run:"

You will have to repeat this for each shortcut you use to launch Internet
Explorer.

You might have pop under Internet Explorer windows which you close
after you close the visible Internet Explorer window. Internet
Explorer remembers the size and position of the last window closed.

Hello John,

If you are using IE8 (if not, I recommend upgrading to IE8), here's how to get IE8 to open windows in full screen. To set the default Window setting just open IE8 and size the window to your liking. Then hold down the CTRL key while clicking the “X” to close the program. This will set the IE window to open at this setting every time.

Hope this works for you!

Cheers,
Cassandra

Have one web page open with a link you can open in a new window.

Open one page from the link and position the mouse pointer to the corner of the screen and drag to full size.

Use the same link to open a second page and repeat.

Close the first web page with the link, then close the second page you opened, then the third.

Have a look to see if your pages now open full screen.
