Explorer left pane - as tree under ALL circumstances?

: But if I right-click from an entry in Firefox's "Downloads" window, and select "Open Containing Folder", It's the difference between Open and Explore. Open is the Fisher- Price view that you and I hate, Explore is the two-paned view with tree at left.
