The page cannot be displayed

For some reason I am unable to get to some websites with
XP and any browser I try to use.

Example; etrade should be easily accessible but "cannot
be found"!! or, "action cancelled," or "the page cannot
be found."

On another computer running windows 2000 I have no
problems, so I assume this condition has to do with XP
Pro.

The knowledgebase has no solutions that work.

Any ideas or similar experiences out there?
