Leonard's link seemed a bit complicated but at the same time I found a link on a Microft Help page referring specifically to XP Backup. It appears that Outlook Express's Email Address Book and Messages are included in the Documents section if ticked for backup. However, for peace of mind, I shall trawl through the details to fin it. Another way to find the Address Book and messages: For the Address Book, search for this: *.wab That is, Start | Search | All Files and Folders In the box "All or part of the file name", type: *.wab Under More Advanced Options, make sure the following are checked: Search hidden files and folders Search subfolders Click Search. The default location should be: C:\Documents and Settings\[user name]\Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book Regarding messages, all these files have the .dbx extension.
