Default Printer

I added my adult son to our puter with the intentions of
him being able to write a resume and cover letter.
However the printer will not work under the new guest
name. It works fine for myself and my wife. Do I have
to reprogram the Printer ? It is a Compaq puter and a
IJ650 printer . It has always work excelent other wise .
Thanks for any help you can give me. yash986@aol,com

Since you don't say otherwise I'll have to use my crystal ball and predict:

XP Home
with Norton Antivirus
Son is a Limited User

If this sounds right the solution is:

Go to the Control Panel & right click on Printers & Faxes
Right click on the printer and select Properties
Click on the Advanced Tab
Set the option to Print Direct to Printer, instead of using the Print
Spooler

If the crystal ball is taking a day off, please provide a better
description, including make and model of printer.
