Default Microsoft XP acknowledged bug fix??

bogus windows patches that I'm not as trustful as I used to be...

Nicholas is a regular here and one would assume trustworthy but if you
want to be absolutely positively sure -- contact MS as instructed in the
MS Knowledge Base article to obtain the fix. I had to follow up on a
patch of this type once and MS sent a link and a password to the copy of
the patch that's on their servers.

NOTE: The patch has not been released at Windows Update yet for a
reason. The final copy of this patch may be exactly the same or it may
be a little different than the one that's still in testing.
