Default computer freezes etc.

Hello-
I'm having major issues with my computer. When I switch users, everything
starts freezing up and the hour glass thing appears and never goes away. I
end up having to unplug my computer to shut it down. I just tried to install
a game and an error message popped up. It said something like system 32 could
not support 16 bit somethingrather. Oh--also, at start-up when a user screen
is pulled up an error mssg always appears that says system32 something
something could not be found. make sure you typed the path correctly and
search again. This happens every time. Any one know what is wrong? I am a
dunce when it comes to computers so you may have to simplify things a bit for
me.

Cally,

Please go to Start Control Panel Administrator Tools Event Viewer.
Check the Systems and Application on the left and on the right, check if
there is any yellow mark. If there is, please double click on it and copy
and paste the error to us (by posting a reply).

Also, although there are solutioons on running a 16bit DOS program, it isn't
recommended that you install old games (DOS or whatever) on a WinXP machine.

Thanks for replying. Here is a load of error and warning mssgs from the event
viewer. The ones from 'APPLICATIONS' are listed first and those from 'SYSTEM'
second. I copied most of it save for the ones that appeared repeatedly with
the exact same event properties. I hope this is enough info--

Sorry if I copied too much. This has been going on for some time
now and so I
included stuff from earlier events too. Thank you so much!

Cally,

Please export your applications and system log and send it to me at
mingteikg [at] blizhosting.com

It will be easier for me to pin point the problem.

Thanks!

Thanks for replying. Here is a load of error and warning mssgs from the
event
viewer. The ones from 'APPLICATIONS' are listed first and those from
'SYSTEM'
second. I copied most of it save for the ones that appeared repeatedly
with
the exact same event properties. I hope this is enough info--

no longer in use.

This is often caused by services running as a user account, try
configuring
the services to run in either the LocalService or NetworkService account.

Sorry if I copied too much. This has been going on for some time

Cally,

Please go to Start Control Panel Administrator Tools Event Viewer.
Check the Systems and Application on the left and on the right, check if
there is any yellow mark. If there is, please double click on it and copy
and paste the error to us (by posting a reply).

Also, although there are solutioons on running a 16bit DOS program, it
isn't
recommended that you install old games (DOS or whatever) on a WinXP
machine.

Hello-
I'm having major issues with my computer. When I switch users,
everything
starts freezing up and the hour glass thing appears and never goes
away. I
end up having to unplug my computer to shut it down. I just tried to
install
a game and an error message popped up. It said something like system 32
could
not support 16 bit somethingrather. Oh--also, at start-up when a user
screen
is pulled up an error mssg always appears that says system32 something
something could not be found. make sure you typed the path correctly
and
search again. This happens every time. Any one know what is wrong? I am
a
dunce when it comes to computers so you may have to simplify things a
bit
for
me.
