Little hole in the front of the drive......insert a paperclip
that should open the drawer and you can retrieve your DVD bfore you go out and buy a new unit to replace the broken one. peter -- "Those are my principles. If you don't like them I have others." Several people have said to do this paperclip trick...however there is no
little hole in the front of the drive...unless maybe you mean inside the computer...because the front of my computer is solid and has no holes...lol "peter" wrote: Little hole in the front of the drive......insert a paperclip that should open the drawer and you can retrieve your DVD bfore you go out and buy a new unit to replace the broken one. peter -- "Those are my principles. Have you tried a simple reboot? Doing a reboot will shutdown any program that has exclusive rights to that drive and is not releasing it. -- Mike Pawlak |
