It still does not explain why it's giving me the 8500 as the source (top) and the external as the destination(bottom). That's why I say it seems backwards The source should be the WD (top) and the destination should bethe 8500 (bottom) Robert It's displaying the characteristics of the source image in the top pane. And make sure you scroll when searching for the destination drive. The drive you actually want, could be further down. Paul |

There's got to be something there you can use to verify it. Paul |

Yes it was wrong,, before selecting
destination partition it showed the K: as source,.. so I then somehow got it so that the K was on top(source) and the C: (destination) and the numbers matched,.. so after checking everything to make sure I clicked next Everything seems ok so far,, 51% complete Robert |

You can "explore" the drives currently connected, to jog your memory. The Exploring function is not a full explorer - you cannot do copying down there or repair work. It's mainly for looking around. Agreed but we tried a number of
things and nothing pointed to anything which might be suspicious. Robert |

You should see a neurologist. Robert |
