my monitor wont activate
I just installed win xp pro in my computer, I have a PIII 450 in a m748lmrt
motherboard, wich has an ontegrated video card. The installation ran smoothly, but when the system first started, the monitor goes to stand by after the "windows is starting" splash screen apears... this is very weird, I have deducted that the system is working because when I switch of the power the "hibernating" splash screen apears in the screen as it comes back to life... the problem is that it stays sleep in betwen, so I cant see windows or play with configuration... does somebody know what can be happening? |

Press F8 at startup and select Safe Mode. Once in Safe Mode, you'll need to
install the correct drivers for your onboard graphics chip. Cari www.coribright.com "Dario Genolet" wrote in message ... Press F8 at startup and select Safe Mode. Once in Safe Mode, you'll need
to install the correct drivers for your onboard graphics chip. Itried that, but the only option that apears after pressing f8 is the option to restore to a previous state... there is no safe mode option... do you know why? |
